I am concerned that my son, born on September 16, 2019, with a birth weight of 2.9 kg, might have autism. He has been thumping his legs, shaking his hands, and flapping his wrists in a clockwise motion since birth. He also has difficulty standing without support and cannot crawl. He says 'ma' when he cries and babbles 'ba ba pa pa, inna inna' but hasn't started saying 'mama' or 'dada.' He cries when strangers hold him but sometimes plays with other kids by tapping his palms on their faces. He laughs when I make crazy noises and has recently learned to wave his hands and say 'tata.'
