I have been experiencing unrelenting stabbing pain in my head for two years. The pain is constant and feels like broken glass inside my head. I manage the pain with Tylenol and muscle relaxers, but it remains unrelenting. I haven't been able to turn my head from right to left in two years. What could be causing this and what should I do?

I have pain around my sternum that worsens with head movement, laying down, getting up, and rolling over. The pain is 3 times more severe than yesterday, rated at 7.5 on a scale of 1 to 10. My friend lost vision in one eye suddenly while driving. He felt a tightness around his eye and subtle pain above the brow. His sight gradually came to a small hole opening in the center of the eye and then returned within approximately 30 seconds. He is still experiencing slight discomfort in the affected right eye.
