I have been feeling lethargic and anxious over the last three days. I have an odd feeling on the left side of my chest, not pain, but like someone pressing lightly with a finger. My blood pressure readings range from 126/82 to 156/82, and I take blood pressure medication. I have gone to the ER before for similar feelings and was told it's not a heart attack. I have an appointment with my physician scheduled for Tuesday. Should I go to the ER again or wait until I see my doctor?

I am 51 and on a low-dose oral contraceptive pill (Beyaz) to manage perimenopausal symptoms. My recent lab results show extremely low estrogen and progesterone levels, indicating postmenopausal status, despite being on the pill. I experience intense fatigue, breakthrough bleeding, night sweats, and body aches. My thyroid levels are normal, and I take Levothyroxine. Why are my symptoms not being controlled by the pill, and what other options should I consider for hormone replacement therapy?

I recently had a comprehensive metabolic panel done, and while most results were within normal ranges, my ALT was slightly elevated at 58 (normal range is 7-56). I have high anxiety and am concerned about potential liver issues. I also have higher than normal cholesterol levels (total 206). Could factors like strenuous exercise, diet, and alcohol consumption affect these readings? What dietary changes and lifestyle modifications should I consider to help manage these levels?

A few years ago, I had an abnormal ECG that led to a referral to a specialist who suspected Brugada syndrome. The specialist conducted a 24-hour ECG and an echo, both of which were normal. Recently, I had a 72-hour ECG, also normal. Would these longer ECG monitoring periods have shown Brugada syndrome if I had it? Is Brugada syndrome hereditary?
