I have muscle spasms from my temple all the way down the jaw line. I'm 46 years old and have cervical dystonia. My head used to lean to the left a lot, but now my neck is straight. I also have clicking in my upper left TMJ. The spasms started about two weeks ago, and I have to sleep on my back because of them. What can I do to relieve these spasms?

I was on clindamycin for 10 days instead of 7 due to dosage constraints, which caused my heart to race. After finishing the medication, I developed a rash on my arms and stomach, and my lymph nodes were swollen. The urgent care doctor diagnosed the rash as viral and prescribed a steroid shot and oral steroids. Given the side effects of clindamycin, could my symptoms still be related to the medication, and will the prednisone help if they are?

My 14-year-old son has been experiencing pain at the base of his neck through the upper part of his chest when he eats or swallows. He noticed this for the first time today. When he drinks something warm, it helps a little. What could this be and what should we do?

During a life insurance exam, my urine creatinine test showed 339 mg/dL and protein was 34 mg/dL, both of which were high. My serum creatinine was 0.9 and BUN was 10, both normal. The test detected hemoglobin, and I was on my menstrual cycle. Could the menstrual cycle have affected the results? Should I be concerned given that my blood creatinine and BUN levels were normal?

I fell and had a fairly large bruise on my side. I went to the hospital because I also hit my head, but nothing was broken. The bruise has grown to be huge, extending down into my groin and hip area. I am on blood thinners. Should I be worried?

I'm experiencing increased off-balance feelings and weird sensations in my eyes, which have worsened since Friday. I'm concerned it could be a brain tumor, especially since my grandmother died from one. I've had several tests, including a vestibular test and an EEG, and my neurologist mentioned painless migraines as a possibility. I'm currently taking beta blockers, but I'm still worried and unsure if this is the right diagnosis. What could be causing these symptoms, and should I be concerned about a brain tumor?
