I recently completed a 14-day treatment for H. pylori with tetracycline and metronidazole. Since finishing the medication, my tongue has become swollen and blistered, and my throat feels the same. My pharmacist suggested this is unlikely related to the medication. I have a history of severe indigestion and am concerned about the possibility of cancer. What could be causing these symptoms?

My daughter has a rash that is all over, splotchy, itchy, and comes and goes. She has no real medical issues except for an appendectomy and tonsillectomy.
