My wife and I have been experiencing chronic, loose, watery stools for over 5 years, with occasional periods of near-normal stools. We have traveled extensively, including to third-world countries, and the issue began after a trip to Yellowstone National Park. We have undergone full gastrointestinal and colonoscopy workups, taken full courses of 'anti' medications, and consulted multiple gastroenterologists, but no definitive diagnosis has been made. What could be causing these symptoms and what further steps can we take to address them?

After having sex, I experienced pain while urinating and noticed tears or cuts in the genital area. It's been almost a month and some of the cuts are still there. I also have a low-grade fever and a swollen lymph node. I was initially told it could be a vaginal laceration or herpes, but I'm confused. How should I proceed?

In the past three weeks, I have developed severe edema to the point of being painful to walk, stand, or even lay comfortably. I have no other health conditions except high blood pressure controlled by medication. The pressure in my feet feels extreme, and the swelling is visible in my hands, face, and feet. My doctor recommended a water pill, and my kidneys are fine according to a urine analysis. I am worried and frustrated.
