I think I'm getting a UTI, with symptoms including abdominal cramps, itching above the pubic hair line, and possible pus in my urine. I've been tested for STDs and do not have a new sexual partner. I'm considering using a home remedy but am concerned about the infection coming back without antibiotics. I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow, but if symptoms worsen, should I go to the ER? Additionally, I have leftover Cipro from a previous UTI. Can I start taking it to avoid the ER, or could it create a resistant infection?

My dad has been diagnosed with lung cancer and is currently undergoing treatment with Tarceva (Erlotinib). My son, who was working on his car in high humidity and 90-degree weather, experienced confusion, severe dizziness, and severe sweating. Since then, he has shown strange behavior, insomnia, nausea, and restlessness. I suspect it might be heat stroke, but I don't know what to do now, three days later, especially since he has no insurance. What can I do to help him without going to the ER?
