I've been sick for a couple of days and now it feels like there's a lump in my throat that causes hiccups and a gag reflex, especially when I swallow. I threw up two days ago and had massive heartburn, followed by this lump feeling. What could this be, and what can I do to alleviate it?

I have periods that last for an average of 3 weeks, with a heavy flow and passing of clots for most of that time, which then lightens toward the end. What could cause this, and is it serious? The doctor has done a pelvic ultrasound, which showed everything is normal.

My fiancé was recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. He has chosen to keep his method of treatment personal. I have noticed swelling on his face between the corner of his nose to the corner of his mouth, which comes and goes. Is this swelling a side effect of his treatment or related to the spread of the cancer? What could cause this swelling?

I work with dry lumber and am outside all day. I had a hard layer of dry cracked skin and was told that I have a skin fungus. Lotion makes it worse. The layer is much thicker than my normal skin and is usually white or yellow in color. I get cracks that raise up and are painful. What is this fungus called and what is the best treatment?
