I was diagnosed with a small mass (meningioma) near my inner ear and temple, which was initially thought to be a stroke. Since then, I've experienced symptoms like numbness on the right side of my face, pins and needles above my right eye, light headaches with nausea, and numbness in my index finger. I'm concerned about these symptoms and the diagnosis of either meningioma or acoustic neuroma (vestibular schwannoma). How can they confirm the diagnosis, and should I be concerned about the wait-and-watch policy given my sister's experience with a similar situation?
