I went to Las Vegas this weekend and did a lot of drinking. I woke up the next day with what seemed like a skin irritation. Under my eyes seemed to burn and are really swollen. When I put lotion on it burns. Any idea what could have caused this?

I had a full hip replacement 1 1/2 years ago and was unable to continue my care with my orthopedic surgeon due to a large 3rd degree burn received during the procedure. I have been unemployed, have no insurance, and haven't seen another physician. I'm now able to start working out again, but I'm unsure what I should and shouldn't do with my hip. Prior to the surgery, I did weight training and cardiovascular workouts, but now I'm out of shape and need guidance on how to safely resume exercise. Can you help me?

I've never had a problem going to the bathroom before, but now I can't get a bowel movement out, even though I feel the urge. It's painful and feels blocked. I think this is due to constipation from taking oxycontin and not drinking enough fluids. Will a stimulant laxative/stool softener combination solve this problem?

I had my last period on May 8th, 2008, which was shorter and lighter than usual. Two weeks later, I experienced symptoms like fatigue, nausea, headaches, sore breasts, and menstrual-like cramps until my next period, which came a week early on May 3rd, 2008. It was bright red and medium to heavy flow but stopped by May 5th, 2008, with only pink blood afterward. My periods are usually regular, and I took multiple negative pregnancy tests. What could be happening?

I will be 8 weeks pregnant when we are going snow skiing. This is my fourth pregnancy and I have had no problems with any previous pregnancies. I am physically fit. We have gone snow skiing once a year for the last eighteen years. Will it be okay for me to ski, of course mostly greens with my children, as long as I only ski a few hours a day and tone it down a lot?
