I have discomfort under my right breast on my side that comes and goes. It has been present for about 6 months and sometimes feels like burning. My stepdaughter, who is 13 years old, has had a rash for about 9 months. The rash is on the back of her arm, round, and resembles a bull's eye with red on the outside and normal skin in the center. Sometimes she gets small blisters around it. There used to be just one, but now there is another on her back. She claims her mom took her to the doctor, who said if it clears up, it's fine. I am concerned because her mother has herpes, and I fear it could be an infectious rash related to herpes. I have been prescribed metronidazole for my IBS. The doctor said to take it every 8 hours, which is 3 times a day. I think he mentioned 5 days, but I'm not sure.
