My stepdaughter, who is 13 years old, has had a rash for about 9 months. The rash is on the back of her arm, round, and resembles a bull's eye with red on the outside and normal skin in the center. Sometimes she gets small blisters around it. There used to be just one, but now there is another on her back. She claims her mom took her to the doctor, who said if it clears up, it's fine. I am concerned because her mother has herpes, and I fear it could be an infectious rash related to herpes. Additionally, my husband had a liver transplant in 2009 and could be at risk if it is something serious. What could this rash be, and what should we do?
