My daughter had a liver test done, and it came back positive for Hepatitis C type 1a with a viral load of 4,200,000 copies/ml. What does this mean, and did she just get it? She is 24, has a drinking problem, and has systemic allergies to red dye and penicillin. I've read that if she just contracted it, it could respond to medicine and not be chronic. Does this 'medium' viral load already mean chronic?

How do I know if I have HPV? I had warts on my genitals when I was 15 and didn't know what they were at the time. Now, at 25, I'm really scared. What can I do?

I received a message from my doctor saying my ANA antibody test result was up 'one marker-non specific' and that I should see a rheumatologist. I have pain in my neck, left shoulder, and hips, and suffer from eczema. What does this mean, and could it indicate arthritis or another condition?

About 3 weeks ago, I started having watery stools with intermittent bloody mucus and cramping. I took Imodium and increased my fiber intake, but the symptoms persisted. I also experienced pain similar to a UTI, for which I was prescribed Septra and Pyridium. The pain subsided, but the mucusy stools and cramping continued. What could be wrong with me?
