My husband has small cell lung cancer, and every time he coughs he also coughs up blood. We have mentioned this to our GP and the cancer nurses, but they don't seem too bothered. Should we be concerned? He is otherwise quite well, but the blood is frightening. Thank you, Mrs. Delia Birch.

I have a constant pressure in my head and noise in my ears, which I have never experienced before. I am a flight attendant and have no fever, blurred vision, or numbness, but my tummy feels harder than usual. I have been experiencing these symptoms for one week. What could be the cause?

I was bitten by fleas from a dog 8 months ago and have a persistent rash that won't go away. The rash consists of tiny red bumps that slowly grow larger, then start to itch and become scaly. They never develop pus, and my boyfriend hasn't contracted it, suggesting it may be something that entered my blood from the bites. The dog had significant hair loss, which I suspect was due to an infection. What could be causing this rash?
