My mother-in-law died suddenly at age 70 in April 2012. Since then, my father-in-law, aged 83, has experienced significant health deterioration, including physical weakness, chronic pain, potential onset of dementia, and increased dependency on care. He is on multiple medications and has a full-time carer. All three sons live abroad, making regular visits difficult due to cost and work commitments. What might be happening to my father-in-law, what can we expect in the future, and what is the best way to handle this situation?

Has anyone ever died from tonsilitis, especially if it is or has been treated with an antibiotic? How often is too often to administer antibiotics?

I think I'm in early menopause and have been getting my period twice a month, but now it lasts six days or more, not a heavy bleed but I still have to wear a tampon. Is this normal? I'm 47.

I am experiencing pain in the upper area under my right armpit, slightly lower and wrapping around to my back. My doctor suspects shingles due to the burning pain, but I haven't seen any sign of a rash. How long can it take for the rash to appear, and can you have shingles without getting the rash on the outside of the skin?

I have been feeling cripplingly tired lately and noticed a low MPV (6.6fL) and a low RDW (11.18%) in my CBC, with a normal platelet count (285). I also had cellulitis after a spider bite, which was treated with antibiotics. Could these blood results be related to my fatigue, or is there another cause?
