My natural hair color is medium brown, but I dyed my hair red about five years ago and ever since I have been trying to dye it brown or put blond highlights in my hair, and it always goes red, especially when I am in the sun or in the light. What can I do to get the redness out of my hair for good?

I had inguinal hernia surgery 2 weeks ago with two incisions, one 5 inches and another 2 inches below it. I have been in excruciating pain, with pain extending down my leg and up the right side, despite taking pain medication. The incision is raised and painful, but not infected. The surgeon suggested he may have cut a nerve due to the depth of the surgery. I am worried about the cause of the pain and the need for a second incision, and whether there could be permanent damage such as a ligament or tendon being cut. I want to ensure a full recovery without long-term issues.
