My neighbor is being sent for a biopsy to see if she has muscular dystrophy and/or what type of MD. She said her muscles have atrophied severely over the last 4 weeks and she has lost 4 pounds. Something seems odd to me particularly because she did have an eating disorder in the past and is on the drug Methadone for pain. I'm doubting the veracity of her saying she may have MD and wondering if her current medications could be causing her to spiral. How many types of MD are there and could there be other disorders causing her symptoms?

I have a small, round bump on the upper side of my penis shaft. It has persisted for 3 weeks, is somewhat firm, whitish in color, and round with no cauliflower shape. I have had negative STI tests and been told it's not herpes or HPV. Is this likely foliculitis, a sebaceous gland, or possibly misdiagnosed HPV? Should I continue with home treatment or seek further medical advice?
