Since the other night, every time I breathe in deeply, I experience painful pressure in my throat and upper chest area. The more I do it, the worse it gets, and bending over makes it really bad. I have no cough or soreness, and it started after a vigorous evening and dinner. I have MVP (Mitral Valve Prolapse) and GERD (Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease), and I'm currently taking 1/4 mg of Ativan to sleep at night and Prilosec OTC. No tests have been done yet. What could be causing this pain, and what should I do?

I had a total abdominal hysterectomy 3.5 weeks ago and am experiencing pain when I need to urinate and before, along with nausea and severe pain from wind around my stomach. I thought it was a chronic water infection and have taken 3 courses of antibiotics, but the symptoms persist despite urine samples showing no specific infection. What could be causing this and what should I do?

I started Prozac about 3 months ago. I had a full period but have not had a period for two months. I took a pregnancy test which shows negative. Not sure what's wrong. I was on Depo for six years, was off for two, then took two more shots over a year ago. I had been having periods. Never missed one before but they have always been irregular. No thyroid problem that I know of. I am 5'4" and 160 lbs. I have gained some weight recently and am often nauseated.

Three or four times over the last 6 months, my stool has been green, and I have not been eating anything unusual. What does this mean?

I have very large, pus-filled spots under my armpit that are very sore. I've had them for five months, been on loads of penicillin 625mg, and they don't go away. They also cause burning and pain. What could this be and what can I do about it?

My daughter just received a flu vaccination last night. The area around the injection site is red and warm to the touch. It is the size of an orange. Should we be concerned?
