I was carrying my 40-pound child and a basket of laundry through deep snow up a long driveway, and began to feel a fast pounding heartbeat, then felt immediately nauseated and dizzy, lightheaded. This was 7 hours ago, and I still feel a little off, with occasional fast pounding heartbeats. I am 140 lbs, 5'6, 42 years old, female, have excellent cholesterol, and had a recent EKG, which was fine. Should I be worried?

I'm recovering from a stomach flu and it seems to have worsened my GERD symptoms. I have constant burning in my throat below my adam's apple, and every time I burp, I reflux a liquid into my throat that feels acidic. I also feel a heaviness or muscle spasm in the same area. Additionally, I took Pepto Bismol and now my stools are black. Can Pepto Bismol cause black stools, and can a stomach flu worsen GERD symptoms?

I have a urine discharge while I sleep almost once every week. It's not painful, just a normal discharge. It's similar to bedwetting I experienced as a child, and now at 19, I worry. I believe it might be due to drinking too much liquid before bed. What do you think?

I had ACL surgery 5 years ago, and now a screw has popped out. I have an appointment in July, but I can't take NSAIDs for pain management due to acid reflux and stomach issues. Should I talk to my family doctor for other pain management options, or will she brush me off because I also have anxiety issues? The pain is really bad.

Since returning from Honduras, I developed bumps that resemble spider bites on my bikini area and armpits, which look like whiteheads. I also experienced pink eye, and my husband had similar bumps on his shin. He responded to antibiotics, but I didn't. My acupuncturist suspects lymphatic parasites (filariasis), a physician's assistant thought it was a bacterial hair follicle infection, and a gynecologist called it bacterial cysts. My immune system is compromised, and I don't want to take the wrong antibiotic. What could be causing these bumps, and what should I do?
