While sleeping at night, I dream about strange objects and things that have no association with me. The dreams are more like an hypnotic state in which it seems a movie is shown to me in my dream than actual events that occurred. I constantly hear a person speaking but don't know where this person is. It is not a person I made up or an imaginary person. In 2003, when I was in my apartment, I suddenly started hearing this woman's voice. It has not stopped since that day. The conversation is not clear but mostly about current events that are happening in my life, such as where I am going, doing, my friends and family, my work relationships, and how the people at work respond to me. The tone of the voice lowers when I am sleeping but raises when I am awake. I think others are hearing this voice as well when they see me they touch a part of their body. I saw a psychiatrist and counselor who couldn't find anything mentally wrong. What could be the cause of these experiences?
