When a person has a silent heart attack, does it leave the heart weakened/damaged in a way that would make it more susceptible to a future heart attack? Additionally, if the silent heart attack was caused by a heart-damaging drug like Vioxx and the drug was continued, could it further damage the heart? And if the drug was abruptly stopped, could the prior silent heart attack and continued use of the drug have contributed to an acute and fatal heart attack?
