I am currently taking 30mg of oxycodone every 4 to 6 hours for chronic pain. What is a good equivalent pain medication that does not contain codeine? My current doctor no longer wants to prescribe oxycodone due to the new pill mill act in Florida.

When I bend my fingers to hold something, it's hard to bring them back to their original position, and my hands feel clumsy. The same issue occurs with my feet. My whole body also feels shaky at times, which goes away after a few hours but is uncomfortable.

I have been experiencing pain in my throat and neck for about a week and a half, along with swollen lymph glands in my throat, behind my ears, neck, and under my arms. I also have pain radiating through my collar bone area, a tight chest, frequent headaches, and difficulty swallowing and breathing. My doctor suspects it's just a cold, but I don't have other cold symptoms. Should I go to the hospital for further evaluation?
