A contractor didn't finish my home in the allotted time in my contract. I extended the construction loan by three months and had to pay about $2000 extra in interest. Can I use the contract clause about the contractor's failure to complete the improvements on time as justification to ask him to compensate me for the $2000 of interest I paid?

In an HOA governed by Florida Ch 720, if an owner wishes to appeal a decision of an architectural or rental committee to the board, should the owner be given a specific time, such as 14 days, to request a hearing, or should the owner attempt to force a decision at the next board meeting? Additionally, should the owner be informed of their right to legal representation at both committee and board meetings?

I have a multiple count complaint including 'fraudulent concealment'. Would 'fraudulent concealment of a cause of action' be a separate count or is it included in 'fraudulent concealment'? Additionally, as a beneficiary who meets the requirements of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 230, Section 5, who should be named as the 'Plaintiff' in my complaint, and can I proceed pro se in a manner similar to someone beneficially interested in a trust fund bringing an action to enforce a claim in favor of such fund?

I was assaulted by my ex-boyfriend in Mexico in July 2017. He strangled me and beat me up for nearly 30 minutes. I ran away and changed my flight to return home early. He is now contacting me demanding half of his deposit back from our shared house, which I had to take over all payments for after kicking him out. How long do I have to press charges for the assault, and does it look bad that I waited so long? Are the issues regarding the property separate from the abuse, and what can I do about his continued harassment?
