A friend sent slanderous and harassing messages to my mother, ex-husband, fiancé, and friends, causing emotional distress. I sent a harsh message in response but apologized later. I am a software developer consultant who received an offer through a vendor to work with a client. My current employer is asking for twice the salary I'll be receiving.
