Animal control took my roommate's three dogs based on a neighbor's complaint that they are vicious, even though they have never bitten anyone and are harmless. The neighbor has a grudge because one of the dogs keeps hopping the fence. How is this legal based on hearsay, and do they have the right to do this? These are family pets, and if we don't have the money to get the dogs out, what happens to them? How can we get a sooner court date?
