As a mandatory reporter in Oklahoma, I reported a potential child endangerment situation from Texas 11 days after learning about it. Will I get a misdemeanor for not reporting within a certain time frame, and is it possible for Texas to coordinate with Oklahoma to open a case against me?

I took a plea deal for possession of a firearm and possession of a weapon in the second or third degree in New York State. A Glock-style handgun built from multiple brands of parts was found near my home, and some parts were traced back to my credit card. I was sentenced to 5-year felony probation, which is the minimum sentence in New York. I'm wondering if there was any way I could have beaten the case, considering the only proof they have is that the parts were bought with my credit card, and I was under the assumption that homemade firearms were legal.
