As a Police Officer, I learned that my personal records were requested as part of a Pitchess Motion. I understand the department is required to notify me when they receive notice so I can contest the motion if I want. My department did not inform me, and the hearing has passed. Can they do this? Don't they have to tell me? What can I do now?
