How do I get my child support payments reduced in Texas after I've been laid off from my job?

I have been my mother's Power of Attorney since 1993. She wants me to be paid a small monthly fee for my bookkeeping services as she has rental properties to manage and other miscellaneous work to do. I worry if I take a fee for this service, my mom might not get Medicaid if needed in the future. Is it true that this is considered a service, not a gift, and is not looked at negatively by Medicaid? I spend at least several hours a day on her as the POA, and this would be great as I have cut back my hours on my job to take care of her. I just don't want to have any entanglement with Medicaid in the future if she should need it.

I had repair work done on my property and have not been able to pay off all the balance yet. This construction company is threatening me with foreclosure of the property due to this very small balance owed. Can they do that?

When a C-corp closes, the corp takes back the common stock and pays the amount to the stockholder. Is it considered a dividend or a Schedule D transaction? Do you add in the cash disbursement onto the stock repurchase? I have done some research and it appears that the money from the stock and the cash that was left after the closing is considered a dividend and all is taxable without consideration of the initial stock purchase by the stockholder. I believe it all goes on a 1099-DIV. Is this correct?
