Cassandra C. asked
Can I sue the county in Texas for negligence for letting my husband lay on the ground alive for about an hour after a motorcycle wreck with life flight just sitting on standby, and trouble with the 911 call getting through due to switching from digital to analog? Shouldn't there have been a backup system?

I work at a Brazilian Steakhouse as both a server and a manager. My employer changed my salary structure and now wants me to work additional days as a manager without extra compensation, which affects my earnings as a server. Should I refuse to work these additional days without extra compensation, and do they have the right to require this from me?

After multiple domestic issues involving myself, my son, and his sons mother, the DeKalb County Sheriffs office has labeled us in the system for other Police organizations as 'Should be considered armed and dangerous' and my son as having 'Homicidal Tendencies'. At no time have weapons been involved or threats of harm made. These labels came to light after a car meets deer incident where a Lake County Deputy responded. I feel this action by the DeKalb County Sheriffs Office has put both of us in potential danger and infringed on our Civil Rights. I am considering filing a Civil Suit to have this slanderous information removed from the system. What steps should I take to address this issue?

I received a letter stating that I have twenty days to respond to a complaint for unpaid property taxes, which were sold at auction and bought by a local firm. They are asking for a judgment that allows the sale of my house to recoup their money. I want to keep my house from being foreclosed and sold over such a small amount. I can raise the money and would like to discharge the debt. What do I need to file, to whom, and in what form do I make payment, and what other steps do I need to take?
