My girlfriend and I have been living together for about 9 years and we have an 8-year-old son and she has a 16-year-old daughter that lives with us. I have cut down on smoking to about 1 cigarette every 2 or 3 days and when I do smoke at home I go outside. I can't get her to go outside where it won't have any affect on everyone else. Is there any Texas Law that would forbid her to smoke in the house if we (me and the kids) didn't want her to?

I contacted the VT BBB and the Bradford police chief, but the issue remains unsolved. The contractor lives in NH, and the job is in VT. I have tried contacting the contractor and a lawyer connected with the VT BBB, but to no avail. I am now living in SC, retired, and living on Social Security. I used credit cards to pay the contractor, which has led to financial difficulties, ruined credit, and health issues due to stress. What can I do?
