Does anyone know if AAA offers 1.5 million dollar double indemnity life insurance policies? A friend asked me if he should lend money to a girl that claims she is about to come into about 3 million dollars from her husband's life insurance policy and I think she is full of it. Tell me what you think. She claims her husband drowned while having a double indemnity life insurance policy with AAA. She says her minor children in the care of her mother now because she's homeless have already been paid their part of the policy. This is weird because they have two different fathers first and because this grandmother was able to get this money because she holds a power of attorney for the girls. Why would a power of attorney be needed for minors? Apparently, this girl has not collected her share of this money yet because she has not picked up an ID and AAA needs her to bring it in to the office prior to issuing her check which will take two weeks to get here once they see it. Does ANY PART OF THIS SOUND POSSIBLE?

Do I have to leave a key for my condo in case of emergency for the board association, or can I leave a key for my neighbor? Also, does anyone from the board have the right to enter my apartment without my permission, especially if I'm out of the apartment?

I am a student renting a one-bedroom in a three-bedroom unit in Florida. I was the first tenant and paid to have my dog, which is allowed under the lease. Another tenant moved in with her dog (a pit bull, which is not allowed) and a boyfriend who stays longer than permitted and has a criminal record for drug possession and resisting arrest. The lease states no tenant or guest may have drug-related arrests. After notifying the lease manager, no action was taken. I do not feel safe due to the presence of the man with a criminal record and the potential for a confrontation between the dogs. Can I get out of this lease?

My mother, a U.S. citizen from California, passed away in South Korea. She was insured under my husband's health insurance but did not renew her alien registration. The insurance company is demanding $14,000 in medical bills. They stated that if I can find a choice of law in California or the U.S. that subjects me to South Korean debt laws, the South Korean judge might grant me a disclaimer of inheritance, exempting me from the bills. Can you help me find such a choice of law?
