I was stopped by a police officer for driving with an invalid license and the court postponed the trial for three months. The judge gave me 5 options: 1) guilty without a license, 2) guilty with a license, 3) postpone for three months, 4) not guilty, and 5) an option I don't remember. I am a tourist with a valid license from my home country but my visa had expired. I passed the written exam for a California driver's license under AB-60 law. What should I choose when I go to court in three months with a valid California license? Should I say 'not guilty' and what happens if I do?

I went to San Mateo County traffic court to fight a false claim that I was on my cell phone while driving. The policeman changed the time on the ticket and perjured himself in court. I have phone records proving his claim is false. Can I write to the judge and copy the police department to present my evidence, and is perjury by a police officer a felony?

A contractor didn't finish my home in the allotted time in my contract. I extended the construction loan by three months and had to pay about $2000 extra in interest. Can I use the contract clause about the contractor's failure to complete the improvements on time as justification to ask him to compensate me for the $2000 of interest I paid?

In an HOA governed by Florida Ch 720, if an owner wishes to appeal a decision of an architectural or rental committee to the board, should the owner be given a specific time, such as 14 days, to request a hearing, or should the owner attempt to force a decision at the next board meeting? Additionally, should the owner be informed of their right to legal representation at both committee and board meetings?
