Due to Peripheral Neuropathy, my job has ended, and I am no longer considered reliable for work that requires climbing, standing, or lifting. I am 57 with a high school education and lack skills for entry-level positions. I believe I meet all five criteria for Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) approval and have documentation from my Neurologist and physical therapy evaluation. Should I apply for SSDI immediately or wait two months, and what are my chances of getting approved on the first attempt?

My ex-live-in boyfriend is an illegal immigrant who worked with false papers and now works under the table. He also engages in illegal activities such as smuggling other illegals into the country and paying them under the table. I want to have him deported. How can I go about doing this?

My parents, who rent an apartment in New Jersey, need to move to a first-floor apartment due to health reasons, including multiple falls and deteriorating health. They have asked their landlord to move them to the first floor at the end of their lease, but the landlord has not agreed. They have letters from two doctors stating their medical conditions and the need to move. Is the landlord required to provide this accommodation, and can they be evicted if they do not renew their yearly lease? Additionally, renters on the first floor are agreeable to switching apartments.

I have an employee who has a substance abuse problem. She is 18 and part-time. I would like to help her get help and know she will not do this on her own. I would like to contact her parents and discuss this with them as I am not sure they even know of the issue. Is it legal for me to do that?

I am an 'at will' employee at a sheriff's department and have noticed that my payroll, including overtime hours, seems to be handled incorrectly. My chain of command, including payroll staff, has been making changes to my timesheet to meet department policy. I want to know what resources I can use to audit my payroll and what legal actions I can take if I find discrepancies.

A couple signed a lease with a guarantor, their employer, and did not disclose they have two small children until they filled out an application for condo board approval. My place is elegantly furnished with expensive and delicate items, and I'm concerned about potential damage or injuries. How can I get out of the lease without being accused of discrimination? The lease is signed, checks received but not deposited, and the application has been submitted but not processed yet.
