During our annual election, I received proxies from 4 people. The inspector of elections, who is also the lawyer suing me on behalf of the HOA, rejected my proxies, claiming they did not comply with Corp Code 7514 and the Davis Stirling Act. He objected to the word 'only' in the proxy and ignored the fact that it was a directed proxy. I believe this was done in bad faith due to his bias against me. Can you review the proxies and the relevant corporate codes to determine if his rejection was justified? Because of this, I could not submit ballots for 3 people, and I plan to sue over this election due to this and other violations of civil code.
