Five years ago, I opened some credit cards and provided my dad's income instead of my own, which I now know is considered fraud. Am I legally obligated to contact my credit card company, or should I leave it? I've been making my payments, and my dad is willing to help if needed.

I am representing myself in a New York civil lawsuit where I am the defendant. The case was originally grouped with LLCs that I am a 50% owner in. Due to filing Chapter 11, there was a stay issued to the LLCs but not to me as an individual defendant. I am about to participate in a 341 meeting under oath, where I will be asked questions by the US Trustee and plaintiff’s counsel. I am concerned about involuntarily violating my pro se rights and potentially weakening my state case by providing information that should be kept private or discussing my defense strategy. Can I refuse to answer some questions on the basis that there is a conflict of interest and that it may violate my rights as an individual defendant?

I was approved for SSDI on July 19, 2019, and my three minor children who live with me also receive SSDI. They received backpay from January 2020 to October 2020, but I have not received any backpay. Am I entitled to backpay?

I purchased a used car using my credit union. The dealer was aware they wouldn't immediately have payment and my credit union required the title to be completed for payment. The dealer was aware of this and the title expense was included. The finance guy had me sign stating I carry full coverage and 'got approval' from his manager, telling me we were set. It's been two weeks and the dealer has paid off my trade-in. Today, I was told to finance with a different bank and then refinance with my credit union later because it could now take 6-8 weeks for them to get a check due to Illinois not doing title work. The dealership doesn't want to wait and wants me to finance through them or return the car. They have already paid off my trade-in. Am I required to return the car or finance again, or can I make them wait?
