My daughter has just moved into a room share in New York, she signed a rental agreement for a minimum period of 4 months. Unfortunately, she has discovered a serious cockroach problem throughout the apartment, including in the cupboards and dishwasher. The owner had the place sprayed today but the situation is quite bad. Is she legally allowed to terminate her rental agreement due to the cockroaches being considered a health hazard?

I filed in court asking the judge to order the clerk of court to correct their files and online records. There are two cases that say I owe money on them, when in fact they were dismissed at states exp. I have the courts dismissal papers. And one case that they say I owe money on which I have receipt showing this case was paid in full. Then a couple years later they tacked on $1072 as fines, but when I tell them all fines were paid, they say it is for jail fees. My sentencing papers do not mention paying jail fees. The judge has set a date for a hearing on this matter. What would be the best way to plead my case?
