I have Parkinson's disease symptoms due to overprescription of medication by my mental health doctor, which has caused me to struggle with walking, tremors, and inability to perform daily chores. I am in Washington State and need to know my rights and how to proceed with a potential medical malpractice lawsuit to hold the prescriber responsible for overmedicating me.

We have been terrorized by two neighbors for 2 years in various illegal ways, and recently one of them, on camera, pulled out a gun (a B.B. handgun) and shot out our rear windows. According to Philly Code § 10-810(1) Discharge of a weapon and § 10-810(3)(a), would these violations alone satisfy the requirements for 'Private Nuisance'? Further, would these acts meet the requirements for Restatement (Second) of Torts § 822, § 827, and § 829?

I received a demand letter from the Department of Planning and Permitting (DPP) in Hawaii, citing a $10,000 civil penalty for allegedly renting a property for less than 30 consecutive days without clear proof of a violation. The DPP threatens to place a lien on my personal property and prevent me from renewing my car tags or driver's license if I don't pay. I have been cleared by two different inspectors previously, and the DPP's evidence is weak, consisting only of an online calendar and ignored ad wording. What steps can I take to challenge this penalty and protect my rights?
