I am a Newborn Specialist with 16 years of experience and the ability to teach well. I want to certify others in this field through a 40-50 hour class with testing, required reading, and internship. What are the laws governing the ability to certify another? If certification is an issue, is there another term I could use to teach these people to be Newborn Specialists? My grandson is applying to Xavier High School and we have only two more days to find out if he will be accepted. I made a donation to Catholic Charities and sent a Christmas donation to his current school principal, but the check has not been cashed. I am concerned about the possibility of an appeal if he is not accepted and want to know the best course of action, including whether I should contact the school principal about the uncashed check and how to proceed with an appeal if needed.
