I went to my usual salon for a root touch-up on four tiny strands of hair, but the stylist used bleach instead of the specified color from my chart (color 7 for highlights). My hair is now damaged, breaking off, and unevenly cut. Do I have a case for negligence against the stylist?

I have purchased a piece of equipment on a lease agreement where the date of the first bill was not noted. I asked to be notified of the date of the first payment, but no attempt was made to inform me. When I received the bill after the due date, it was for $100 more than the signed agreement. I was given a three-day period to opt out of the contract, but that time was over before I received the paper bill. I am being harassed by the finance company and want out of the lease. What can I do?

Do we have any legal recourse for a contractor who has not completed a job in Florida, where a contract was signed on 1/30/18 and only the shell of the job is completed due to threats of legal action?

I rent a storage room at Cube Smart Self Storage. The manager told me to leave the property and take my belongings out after I made a comment he deemed inappropriate. Can he legally do this, and is it lawful for him to change the lock on the storage room? I am in New York State, and I do not have a written rental agreement.

I have an LLC named Simply Reiki Houston. I received a cease and desist from a competitor claiming ownership of the name 'Reiki Houston'. The competitor has an active DBA using this name and 'Houston Reiki' in Texas, but no trademark. Do I need to be concerned, and what steps should I take?
