I am a 52-year-old female with a 5 lb. Maltese service dog, trained and documented, who helps me with severe bipolar disorder and low blood pressure. Despite knowing the law and having proof of my need for the dog, I cannot find a landlord who will accept the dog. What legal actions can I take against landlords who discriminate against me based on my disability and need for the service dog?

I have an active warrant in Texas for an unresolved traffic violation in 2010 and my Louisiana driver's license is now expired. I now live in Montgomery County TX but my warrant/violation was in Orange County TX. I called their city court and they informed me that they don't see a hold placed on my DL, but if I try to go get a Texas DL in Montgomery County is there a chance that I'll be arrested at the DMV?

I purchased Apple iTunes cards at a grocery store and put a total of $1000 on them (4 cards). I never used them and now would like to return them to the seller. The store manager refuses to take them back, saying that I need to return them to Apple. Apple rep says that I need to return them to where I bought them and Apple will repay the cards' value to the reseller, but not to me directly as they do not have access to the transaction. Can I pursue the seller (grocery store) to take the cards back, and if yes, how can I do that? Is there any law protecting me as a consumer in this situation, and if so, how should I proceed?

I have been using Frontline Plus for my dogs' monthly flea prevention for 16+ years with no problems. An acquaintance asked me for one for his dog 5 weeks ago. A week later, he claimed Frontline Plus burnt his dog and demanded I pay for his medical bill. I asked for pictures, vet's written statement, and medical report along with the vet bill. For the last 3 weeks, the acquaintance kept saying his vet is still writing the statement. No medical bill, no medical report. He gave me a picture of the supposedly burnt site and said the whole back was burnt. He refused to provide any more pictures. The picture did not show any burn, the hair is still intact. According to my vet, if it is a chemical burn, even if it is minor, the standard procedure is to remove the hair from the affected area. My vet said, from the picture, he could not see any infection, let alone any burns but he said he still requires the vet's medical report, medical bill. How long do I have to wait to get this matter over and done with? How do I prevent myself from getting scammed since I had never seen a dog with that person before? Can I set a time limit as to when he definitely has to provide me with the medical report/medical bill?

If someone abandoned their wife and pet family, moved into a not pet friendly dwelling, then decided to move out of state two years later, what right does he have to claim any of the pet family? Out of 6 pets, the one he wants has been a support pet for the wife, who has been the primary caretaker for 6+ years. The couple got divorced but the agreement, because of this issue, will now go to arbitration. There are 2 dogs and 4 cats.
