I am a Chinese citizen married to an American citizen in Arizona. Our marriage lasted from June 3, 2016, until he initiated divorce proceedings while I was in China. My green card application was self-withdrawn due to issues with my earlier school papers, and I am currently in Canada. I would like to know the legal implications of the divorce on my future green card applications, my ability to travel to the US, potential compensation I can seek, and how my husband can proceed with the divorce while I am in Canada. Additionally, I want to understand if I can sue the agency that made a mistake on my visa paperwork in 2012, which led to the 212 E requirement and ultimately affected my green card application and my marriage.

I am a landlord in Texas with an upcoming eviction case. My tenants may have abandoned the property, changed the locks without permission, and left water running, potentially causing damage. I've misplaced the lease paperwork, and I missed checking a box for a suit for rent on the eviction petition. Can I change the locks if the tenants have abandoned the property, enter the property to check for damage, and still file a suit for rent owed? How should I handle the missing paperwork in court?

I received a small settlement from the insurance resulting from a pedestrian-vehicle accident. My health insurance paid most of the medical bills, but now that I have received the settlement, I am responsible for paying the remaining debts. I am afraid of balance billing and want to know how to handle this debt to avoid that happening. What steps should I take to manage this situation effectively?

I'm an 18-year-old freshman at the Dominican University of California. On Halloween night, I was intoxicated, and so was another student with whom I had implied/explicit sexual consent. However, affirmative consent cannot be given if one party is intoxicated. I want to know my rights in this case, what legal action I can take to prevent expulsion, and what evidence I should gather for my defense.
