I am a Connecticut landlord with a tenant who has not paid his $2,150.00 rent in two months. He is fighting the eviction process. So far he has been served twice. He has a 22-year-old daughter and has moved his girlfriend into the home. May I sue the three separately in small claims court? Although it would triple the $75.00 filing fee, I am hoping to get all three to be responsible.

I received a citation for not yielding to pedestrians in Utah. The pedestrians were walking in the middle of the street, not at a designated crosswalk, and I made a turn without stopping, realizing later I should have stopped. The man who confronted me claimed to be a police officer but did not identify himself or show proof. A different officer later issued me a citation. Should I contest the citation, and can I file a complaint against the pedestrians for jaywalking?
