I am a lien holder on an auto lease contract. The lessee is supposed to provide me as 'named insured' and grant me access to the insurance contract. The lessee has defaulted on an insurance contract and obtained a DUI, refusing to inform me of the current insurance coverage. Additionally, the lessee's license is suspended, and she is operating the vehicle illegally. What options do I have for repossession due to the lessee's breach of contract regarding insurance coverage and illegal operation of the vehicle?

I live in Vermont and own my home. Someone was staying with me under a verbal agreement, and when they stopped paying, they were asked to leave, leaving behind a vehicle and other belongings. The vehicle was towed at the owner's expense, but I am being told by the police that I have to pay for the towing and am responsible for the belongings for 6 months. What is the truth in this situation?
