I am a state employee in California who was disciplined (suspended) without my employer following its policy regarding due process rights, including a Skelly hearing or a post-disciplinary hearing. I signed a last chance agreement and want to know if I have any recourse regarding my employer not following their own policy and the legally prescribed due process for a state employee.
