I am a veteran of the first Gulf War who became disabled due to Gulf War illness. I received mandatory vaccines and pills due to possible deployment and later became ill. I have tried addressing the issues with the VA but have not received any help. What steps can I take to seek compensation for the damages caused by these vaccines and the lost income due to my disability?

I was charged with a misdemeanor for domestic violence in Michigan. It was my first offense, and I was put on a 764.9a probation where the charge would be dropped if I stayed clean. However, I unintentionally violated probation by possessing marijuana on the last day, but did not receive a drug possession charge. This is my only charge. Can I get this charge pardoned or expunged five years from now if I don't have any priors?

I am a parolee who was told by my parole officer to change residence due to a 35-mile radius restraining order that I never received. I was also given a 30-day pass to stay with family 120 miles away from my current residence. Must I comply with the restraining order, and if I do not, will I be in violation?

Is it illegal to place an inmate in a cell with no bathroom (only a drain in the floor), no bed, no mattress, no blanket, and no eating utensil for over 24 hours, while also turning the air conditioning down to below 60 degrees, as part of their punishment? The inmate was in a segregation cell (the 'hole') in a county jail in Kansas, and was previously a correctional officer at the facility, leading to alleged harassment and delayed responses to incident reports.

My sister embezzled $40,000 from her company, but they claim she owes $69,000. She has paid the $69,000 and asked for proof, but they refuse to provide it and now claim she owes an additional $13,000 without proof. Does she have the right to request proof of the total charges and any other rights?

15% of my salary has been taken due to the Governor's furloughs. I had to abandon my home with its adjusting mortgage and stop paying my second mortgage. Three weeks ago I was served papers stating I was being sued by Beneficial, the 2nd mortgage company. It's "limited, > $10,000 but < $25,000. To respond, it costs $360, which I don't have. I'm not eligible for a waiver. Can they give me time to save up the money? What is the longest time I could get? I'm barely making ends meet because of the furloughs. Do I have any options to avoid paying out another bill? Would bankruptcy be an option - since I'll already have years of a poor credit rating?
