I am an active duty soldier in the Army, and I was recently contacted by a creditor from 2008 stating they are proceeding with garnishing my wages from an auto loan account from 2008. I have not had any chance to settle the debt or make payment arrangements. Is this legal, and what are my options?

I am the CEO of a company with a board meeting coming up where my partners want to file for bankruptcy. I want to set an agenda and control the meeting. Can I enforce my agenda and control the voting order? Additionally, if I don't have enough information about the bankruptcy, can I request to postpone the vote? How do cumulative voting work in our situation where we all own 1,000 shares and are considering replacing board members?

What are the property manager's responsibilities in an off-campus apartment with separate sleeping quarters but shared spaces such as kitchen and bathrooms regarding COVID-19 exposure, particularly when a new roommate who has been exposed to COVID-19 is moved into the apartment without prior notification?

I owned my home prior to marrying my husband. We have been married for 12 years and I want a divorce. He contributed to household expenses, but I have always paid the mortgage, and the house remains in my name only. Additionally, we filed Chapter 13 bankruptcy, with the majority of payments taken from my paychecks. If we divorce, do I have to sell my home and split it with him?

I was in a motor vehicle accident on 10/29/2014 and have an attorney representing me. My attorney claims the suit was filed before the statute of limitations, but Hennepin County Court has no record of the lawsuit. I am 76 years old, still treating for brain injuries and back problems, and have co-morbidity issues with COVID-19. I have prepaid thousands of dollars in out-of-pocket medical expenses, and my PIP carrier has paid $20,000.00, with Blue Cross and Medicare covering the rest since my PIP coverage ran out. Can I or my family ever collect on this case due to the COVID regulations?
