I am attempting to fill out a PLD-C-010 in response to a limited civil case in California. I've negotiated with the plaintiff and have agreed upon a settlement/payment plan. My county courthouse claims the plaintiff has not dismissed the case and I am still expected to respond. I have a settlement in full letter proving I’ve settled and agreed on the amount/payment plan. I'm having issues with my apartment complex trying to charge me for damages they claim I'm responsible for, specifically related to wood floor damage and mold issues caused by water intrusion from the upstairs unit, which they are blaming on my dogs. What should I do about this situation?
