I am currently charged with a 4th degree assault in Renton, WA, which I believe should not have been charged. If I take a plea to a S.O.C., will I still be able to sue the business (Dominoes Pizza) responsible for my charges? Additionally, I found out that the prosecutor knows about a potentially exonerating video but has not requested it, which I believe violates the Brady Act. Can I sue the City of Renton for this violation if I take the S.O.C. deal or win my assault case in trial? Finally, I have a small claims lawsuit against eBay for $10,000, but I believe I have a strong case for more damages. How can I move this case to a higher court to sue for more money and include additional evidence and witnesses?
