I am currently separated from my husband and have been driving a leased vehicle owned by his father's estate. I hired a contractor over 2 years ago to fix damage to my house in Warren, Ohio. The contractor was paid over $20,000 by my insurance company, but the job was not completed, and additional damage was caused to my garage. I have tried to contact the contractor multiple times without success. What are my rights and what steps can I take to resolve this issue?

I have been summoned to court for medical debt in Colorado. I have already paid some of the debt, but they kept asking for more and eventually stopped collecting. Now, both my wife and I are named on the summons. Can I settle this debt without going to court, and is it possible to settle for less than the full amount, especially since the insurance didn't pay as much as it was supposed to?

I purchased a business from someone who implied that a distribution account would transfer to me. After final payment, I was told the distribution would not transfer. The seller agreed to pay me back but has ignored my attempts to contact her. What legal actions can I take?

I called the prosecutor's office, and they don't know anything about my case scheduled today. It's not a hearing but a meeting to discuss entering the diversion program. I don't know the terms and conditions yet. Should I hire a local lawyer for assistance, and what should I do if the terms of the diversion program are not fair?
