I am in a nursing school ADN program and received a clinical failure for medication errors in a simulation lab three weeks before graduation. The syllabus does not specify penalties for simulation lab errors, only for clinical site errors. I was not given a remediation process, unlike another student who made a medication error at a clinical site but was still allowed to graduate. I suffer from severe anxiety and was off my medication due to pregnancy, which I informed the school about but was ignored. The syllabus states there should be an opportunity for a re-check to demonstrate competency, which was not provided. Can the nursing school do this?

I'm going to court to have a garnishment quashed for the third time. I'm the sole provider for a family of six. Can I file a motion to vacate to stop the creditor from garnishing for the fourth time? I receive food and energy assistance from the state of Iowa, and after bills are paid, there's not much left over with four kids. My wife and I are also considering filing for bankruptcy to stop future garnishments.

I was 3 weeks from graduating from a nursing program when I received a verbal warning for medication administration errors in a simulation lab. My partner and I gave the wrong medication, and I was the only one issued a warning. I later had a panic attack during another simulation lab and was issued a clinical failure, leading to my appeal being denied. My partner, who also received a clinical failure, was allowed to continue with her final exams and remain in class. I am unsure if I have a case for legal action or what my next steps should be.

I have a strong civil case for false imprisonment, defamation, and invasion of privacy against a billionaire. My current attorney has proposed a contingency agreement with high fees, including 40% of the first million, 30% of the next 4 million, and 20% of anything above that, plus $100 per hour and expenses. I can't afford to pursue charges and am considering lawsuit loans. What can you tell me about lawsuit loans and contingency agreements for high-value cases?
